Will Cano get the money he is after?

As many may know, Robinson Cano will be a free agent. Cano is looking for a 10-year, $305 million contract! As a Yankees fan, I am aware that he is one of the top players in the league, but even I am questioning that contract for him. Many long term contracts end up not working out because the players don't end up performing to their expectations after so many years. At the end of his desired contract, he will be in his 40's! Cano is a great player and I hope he finds a great contract; however, I don't know if that contract he is seeking is ideal.

Washington National's Honor the Navy

One of the major controversies last week is when the Washington Nationals supported the Navy Veterans that died by wearing Navy hats. The players got to wear the hats during warm up, the National Anthem, and even in between their double header, but never got to wear them during the game. Many believe they should have gotten to wear them during the game, and I completely agree. However, the Major League Baseball rules state otherwise.
