Pirate Tickets for 2014

The Pittsburgh Pirates announced that they will be raising the ticket prices for the 2014 season. I believe this is extremely smart for the organization to bring in more money. Many people are still going to buy Pirates' tickets even if the price is getting jacked up. In fact, I believe that more tickets will be sold next year as in comparison to this year. The Pirates will be coming off of an amazing  season and everyone will want to watch them again next year. Pirates' fans really didn't have much to look forward to in the past, but now that they have made the playoffs there is hope that they will again for the next couple of seasons. There are expectations for the Pirates again, and I hope that they go beyond those expectations.

  1. Fans will complain about these prices at first, and I will certainly be one of them. However it's simply just the nature of the business. I want the Pirates to succeed and this is one of the ways to improve payroll. It will be very tough to get a ticket to a Pirate game this year, and thats a good thing.

  2. I will not like the tickets going up either because I enjoyed going to the games and only having to bring a $20 bill with me. It will help them on being able to sign better players which is a great thing but since in baseball you play so many games, I still feel it will be easy to get tickets to certainn games. I'm sure though the weekend games will be sold out but the week day games, I'll still be able to ge them 5 minutes before the game.
